No two visits are the same. But here's a typical one.
When I arrive, there's zero judgment about the state of things. We'll have a quick chat about what would make the biggest difference today.
Maybe the first hour I fix the leaking tap, hang the shelf that's been sitting against the wall for three months, and clear the backlog of boxes in the hallway.
Then I put the tools down, sit at the kitchen table with you, and stay as a calm quiet presence while you finally sort through that pile of unopened mail you've been avoiding.
You do the task. I'm just there. That's often enough.

How I work
No prep needed. No explaining yourself.
Before anything starts, I'll ask what works for you. How much you want to talk. Whether you need quiet. How much direction you want to give. I'll even ask about what I wear, because small things matter when you're already overwhelmed.
I know some people tidy their house before the cleaner comes. Or the shame of being seen in the mess stops them asking for help at all. My whole approach is built around removing that barrier. Mess is fine. Chaos is fine. Whatever state things are in right now is a completely acceptable starting point.
If something isn't working once we're into it, just say so. No awkwardness. No judgment.
